Two days of board gaming! Play and give you feedback to help shape the best games of the future!
Speak with game designers, publishers, and our Special Guests, Eric Lang and Rob Daviau!
The Unpublished Games Network, also known as Unpub, is an organization that helps aspiring game designers establish contacts in the industry, have their games play-tested, and hone their craft to reach the dream of having their game published. Unpub does all this through an annual Unpublished Games Festival, presence at major conventions (PAX East, Origins, GenCon, and BGG.Con), and with the Unpub Mini Program’s partnerships with friendly local game stores. The Unpub.net website contains hundreds of designer-posted games and houses even more electronic feedback forms for all listed designs.
In the past 5 years, Unpub has moved from a small community meeting hall in Dover, Delaware to a 14,000+ sq. ft. space in the Baltimore Convention Center. On April 9, 2016, we will host our sixth annual Unpublished Games Festival (Unpub 6) at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. With over 90 game designers, two incredible special guests (Eric Lang & Rob Daviau), more vendors, and more play testers we are estimating a public attendance of over 2,000 people- that is TWICE last year’s attendance! This is an exciting time of growth for Unpub and one in which we hope you can be a part.
Unpub 6 is a rain or shine event. Designer tables are limited to two games listed within the event program, and requested they bring no more than 2 different games per table, per day. At the request of the Baltimore Convention Center, no pets allowed but service animals are welcome. Unpub and the Baltimore Convention Center are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Out of respect for those on a waiting list, tickets and tables are non-transferable. Tickets and tables are refundable (less 6% processing fee) BEFORE February 1, 2016. Any refunds after January 31, 2016 11:59PM EDT will not be acknowledged. Should you have any questions, or require a refund please email email@example.com.

I love Unpub because it gives me the chance to test, test, refine, test, and then refine again - all in the course of three days. Besides, the best and the brightest in indie game development are there, so it's a chance to talk to the smartest designers I know.Doug Levandowski
Because of UnPub, I was able to accomplish four months' worth of playtesting and development in one weekend.John du Bois
As a game publisher, Unpub 4 was an excellent opportunity to meet an impressive array of game designers in a format where we had the time and opportunity to really connect over their games. Unpub is an outstanding opportunity for both game designers and game publishers.Ralph Anderson (Eagle & Gryphon Games)
Unpub is a great community that helps game designers develop and refine their designs. It's a wonderful effort that strengthens the relationship between designers and players.Ken Graizer
Easily my favorite convention of the year.Bryan Fischer (Nevermore Games)
Unpub is, quite simply, indispensable to board game designers. Where else are you going to find a community of smart fellow designers, eager playtesters and publishers on the lookout for their next release?Chris & Suzanne Zinsli
